Description

Lineshaft conveyors are generally an entry level powered roller conveyor system for applications requiring controlled and unaided movement of boxes and cartons. Typically line-shaft conveyors are used as transfer conveyors in packing and logistics operations, order picking systems and production lines.

Line-shaft conveyors work by having a round belt fitted on to each roller that is in turn driven by a longitudinal drive shaft running along the full length of the conveyor. Individual driven lengths can be up to 20m per drive but depend on the weight of the product being conveyed, the number of transfers required and also the number of personnel access points required.

Side frames are manufactured from mild steel and finished with a powder coated paint surface. Rollers are 50mm Diameter and can be set at different pitches depending on the base size of the boxes being conveyed.

Standard options include personnel lift up gates, corner turns, side transfer units, side guides and blade stops. A range of roller widths and roller pitches is also available.
