Description

Radicon Series G units are available in parallel shaft helical gear type and right angle shaft bevel helical type in double, triple and quadruple reduction stages with a maximum output torque of up to 162,000Nm. The modular design format of Radicon Series G offers many engineering and performance benefits including a high degree of parts interchangeability and sub assemblies. This concept generates substantial cost savings whilst maintaining the highest standards of component integrity. 8 Unit sizes are available with a ratio coverage of 6.3/1 to 315/1

Series G gearcases are manufactured from cast iron in a split case design for ease of maintenance. An inspection cover is fitted for viewing internal gear contacts. Units are also fitted with an oil level dip stick or sight glass. Standard paint surface is semi gloss with options for an epoxy acrylic finish in more extreme climatic conditions. Output shafts and hollow bores are all metric.
