DUNLOP Bearing units are pre-assembled and consist of a bearing, housing, shaft locking mechanism, seal and lubricant, they are ready to mount units and are available with either grub screw shaft locking or an eccentric shaft locking collar. Food quality stainless steel and plastic housings are also available. They offer simple, effective and reliable technical solutions with the minimum design work requirements. Our stock range of bearing units cover both metric and imperial bore sizes and a large range of cast iron housing types, 2-bolt oval and 4-bolt square flanged units, plummer block units, round flanged units and take-up units along with pressed steel flanged and plummer block units. These bearing units have a self-aligning feature due to their spherical outer diameters and the corresponding design of the bearing housing. This feature allows for any static misalignment, which can e.g. frequently occur in the case of welded framework and large transmissions, etc.

Bearing inserts are produced and available in several different designs to meet various technical demands, they are also available separately.
