Clean-Geartech Stainless Steel Premium Motors – All external components of this hygienic smooth bodied motor are manufactured from 316 Stainless Steel, with the motor shaft being made from 420 Stainless Steel with magnetic properties. This gives the motor excellent corrosion protection and represents a reliable and durable solution where hygiene is essential, such as the food and beverage and pharmaceutical industries. This attention to detail has also been maintained on the internals of the motor. The surface temperature is limited thanks to an accurate electromagnetic design and the additional internal active material. The efficiency class across the range is IE3.

The terminal box of the motor is at the non-drive end cabled with a neat and clean gland and the nameplate of the motor is laser etched on to the NDE cover. It is totally Enclosed Non Ventilated (IC410) with 150° Thermistors included as standard. Standard Stainless Steel hygienic cable gland certified to EGEDG and has easy connection, with Wire-to-Wire splicings, heat shrinkable.

All of our stainless steel washdown motors can tolerate high pressure water (100bar) and high temperature water (80C).

Clean-Geartech Stainless Steel Premium Motors are suitable for inverter duty operation with large range at constant torque, thanks to low losses lamination, vacuum impregnation of the windings, inverter duty magnet wires. Stator and rotor coated with anti-oxidant painting. Viton oil seal and O-Rings guarantee an IP67 degree of protection. We also supply stainless steel gearboxes.
