Connect-A-tube Stainless Steel Pipes are 28mm outside diameter c/w 1.2mm wall thickness. All pipes are priced in 4.0m lengths but will be supplied in 2 metre lengths for shipping to the UK mainland. They can be cut to size if required. Part of our pipe and joint system range.

Our Connect-A-tube Stainless Steel Pipes are grade 201. 200 grade stainless steels have a lower nickel content (replaced with manganese) than 300 grade stainless steel thus reducing the cost. They do however have similar overall physical and mechanical properties. Corrosion resistance is most similar to 304 stainless steel.

Connect-A-tube is a pipe and joint system that allows its users to quickly assemble bespoke storage and materials handling solutions. Typically Connect-A-tube is used to build storage racks, carts and trolleys, workstations and even conveyor systems. The product consists of a series of bolt together joints and pipes and therefore requires no welding or any other special skills to assemble. The product is available in loose component form or as fully assembled pieces of equipment.

With Connect-A-tube you can manufacture your own bespoke industrial storage equipment. The product is easy to assemble and consists of a series of joints and pipes that bolt together to form structures that are as strong as those with welded joints. Lean manufacturing techniques prove that less product handling during the manufacturing process improves overall efficiency therefore reducing manufacturing costs. Storage equipment manufactured using Connect-A-tube allows users to assemble bespoke equipment that reduces handling requirements and deliver parts and sub-assemblies to their production lines in a more organised and efficient manner. The product also helps to reduce capital investment costs as it can be dis-assembled and reused to construct new equipment many times over. We provide a complete design service that includes advice on how to improve your production processes.
