IP69k Washdown Aluminium Premium Motors are a range of IP69k rated electric motors suitable for use in washdown applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries. These motors are totally enclosed (IC410) and have no cooling fins. They are treated with the innovative “Hi-cleaning” coating which makes the surface very easy to clean and resistant to cleaning agents used for sanitation purposes. All of the external components are manufactured in aluminium while the motor shaft is produced in 420 stainless. All of the screw fixings used are 316 stainless steel. The motors are fitted at the end with an hygienic plastic cable gland. All motors are suitable for use with inverters. There are no terminal boxes which adds to the completely smooth surface design.
