Description

Shaft mounted speed reducers or SMSR’s are typically used in harsh conditions such as quarrying and mining applications. The units are shaft mounted and are available with quick release bushes for easy on site removal. The units are belt driven by vee-belts. The use of vee-belt drives on the input shaft increases the overall output speed range that can be achieved. Shaft mounted units eliminate the need for couplings or other shaft fixings.
