Workstations are an essential part of manufacturing and assembly line processes. Well designed, ergonomic workstations add to the efficiency of production and lean manufacturing processes. All of our work stations are modular by design so they can be assembled in cell like structures or for individual purposes. No special tools are required to assemble our work stations. A tape measure, hacksaw and a 5mm Allen key are the basic requirements that will get you started. We can supply work stations in a flat pack ready for self assembly or fully assembled and ready to use. As the system is modular you can diasssemble and reconfigure your work stations as the needs of your business change. This minimises waste, another key ingredient of lean manufacturing processes.
We manufacture all of our industrial work stations here in the UK. The modular concept of Connect-A-tube allows us to build an extensive range of work stations that can be fitted with many different types of worktops including anti-static worktops, solid beech wood worktops and laminate worktops. All of our industrial workbenches are made to measure and supplied to suit the exact needs of our customers.
Optional drawer units can be added to any of our work stations in a range of different sizes. Drawers are fitted with heavy duty drawer slides complete with ball bearings for easy smooth opening and closing.
Adjustable Height Workstations
Increasingly, more customers are being driven by higher standards of workplace health and safety requirements to provide workstations that can be adjusted in height to suit the individual needs of each worker and provide a more ergonomic and comfortable working environment. With this in mind we have developed a new range of manual height adjustable work stations and electric height adjustable work stations and desks.
